Usage & limits
Photo Slop is open to every account on the 2plot network, so its guard rails are per account and visible to the account. /usage shows a signed-in user what their account has spent on the editor's agent, how much of the cap is left, what each model call cost, and what their catalogue takes up in storage.
Token spend and the cap
Every call the agent makes to the model is priced from the public per-million-token rate for the model used (Haiku 5.5: $0.10 in / $0.50 out for prompts up to 100k tokens, $0.50 / $2.50 above; Sonnet 5.5: $2 / $10; Opus 5.5: $4 / $20, with cache reads and writes at their own rates) the moment the response arrives, and written against the signed-in account. Each account has a hard cap — $10 by default (PHOTO_SPEND_CAP_USD); the site owner's is separate (PHOTO_SPEND_CAP_OWNER_USD, $50) — checked before every call: at the cap the agent stops with a message and makes no request. The call that crosses the cap is the last one, so an account can end a few cents over.
Models
Members use Haiku 5.5. Sonnet 5.5 and Opus 5.5 are reserved for the site owner; a request naming either from any other account is refused on the server, not merely hidden in the menu.
Catalogue lifespan and storage
Everything saved to a catalogue expires: 30 days after it was saved for a member, 90 for the site owner (PHOTO_CATALOG_TTL_DAYS / PHOTO_CATALOG_TTL_OWNER_DAYS). Expired items are deleted, files included, the next time the catalogue is read and by an hourly sweep. The page shows the bytes an account keeps, split by projects, images and sources, and estimates their monthly cost at Cloudflare R2 list prices ($0.015 per GB-month, $4.50 per million writes, $0.36 per million reads), counting the writes and reads the app made for that account. The bucket's free tier (10 GB-month, 1M writes, 10M reads) is shared by everyone, so it is shown only on the owner's board.
The API
GET /photo/api/usage returns the same report as JSON for the signed-in account (401 when signed out); GET /photo/api/usage?all=1 is the owner's report over every account (403 for anyone else).
Note for AI agents: This is the static, prerendered view of an interactive Dash application served because we detected a non-JS user agent. Full prose docs:
